Worried that your furry friend might be in pain? Are they slowing down and suddenly seem old?
We never have as many years with our dogs as we'd like. So to think of them being in pain, or starting to see the ageing process speed up is worrying, made far worse by the fact that they can't tell us how they're feeling.
Are you seeing any of the following -
- Taking longer to get up from rest?
- Slowing down and appearing old before their time?
- Sleeping more?
- Not enjoying walks as much?
- Lame or limping?
- Struggling to get on furniture or in the car?
- Or are they an active sporting dog and you want to keep them that way?
Then Spring into Action Canine Massage can help to put the spring back in to your dogs step with natural pain relief
Most dogs hide pain well so often the signs we see are subtle, like taking longer to loosen up after waking up, or not being quite as fast and enthusiastic during a training session. But with the right combination of hands on treatment, exercise and lifestyle tweaks there's no reason your dog can't be back to their best blasting round a hoopers course, or running around enjoying life well into their twilight years.
I trained for 2 years with the Canine Massage Therapy Centre and am a current member of the Canine Massage Guild. I use a range of massage techniques designed to give results in just 1-3 sessions. And if your dog needs longer term support to keep them bouncing around at their best I’ll work with you to provide the right plan for your dog, including massage, exercise and lifestyle adjustment as needed, individual to you and your dog.
I only work with vet consent, which I can seek directly from your vet with your permission. This ensures that your dog is suitable for massage, and means that I can provide a report to your vet afterwards updating them on my findings and treatment, so that your dog gets the best possible care.
Treatment takes place either at my venue or in the comfort of your home, wherever you feel your dog will be most relaxed. Initial treatment will involve gait analysis, a full body palpation and then a hands on treatment. I'll give you advice following the treatment and will provide your vet with a full report.
Cost £50 per treatment or £130 for a block of three if your dog has an injury or condition that may require follow up appointments. A mileage charge may apply for visits outside of the TA5 or TA6 area, to be discussed when booking. Many insurers will allow you to claim for the cost of treatment.
